3000 miles to San Francisco…

We made the trek out 3000 miles to San Francisco because these are supposedly the best two teams and everyone else is in the field. Number one Alabama against number two Clemson. Nick Saban going for 6 championship in 10 seasons. Coach Dabo Swinney of Clemson going for a second championship in three years. So what gives?

Clemson has one of the best defenses in the history of college football. They also have an exceptional freshman quarterback in Trevor Lawrence. They are slight underdogs in this game. Why?

Because Alabama is Alabama. They run you over and physically pound the snot out of you. They have Tua Tagovailoa as a spectacular quarterback and they have depth in every position. They’re like a machine that never breaks down. So how does Clemson win this game?

There is only one way. They need to force the Crimson Tide into mistakes. If Alabama does not turn the ball over, they will simply run you over. They also need to get ahead in this game and if that happens, look out. Tough game to call as the spread is six points, but I would take the points and see what happens. Five units on the Tigers.
