Some excellent picks this week.

TCU (-1) at Texas Tech. TCU should be a double digit favorite. Coach Gary Petersen’s team list a tough game last week but this is the lock of the year. Tech is in complete meltdown.

Indiana at No. 9 Penn State (-14). The Hoosiers are having the best season in years and are guaranteed a bowl bid. Unfortunately, they list their starting quarterback. The Nittany Lions I’ll not be looking ahead to Ohio State next week. Four units on Penn State.

No. 23 Navy (+11)at No. 16 Notre Dame. Notre Dame stadium will not be sold out for the first time in 273 games. The Irish have lost plenty to the Midshipman recently and they generally play to the opponent’s level. Take the points for four units and they may win outright.

Michigan State at No. 15 Michigan (-12). It’s late but the a Wolverines have found their groove. The Spartans are going in the opposite direction at 4-5. Another lock on Michigan. State looks old and uninspired.

No. 4 Georgia(-3) at No. 12 Auburn. While I think the a Bulldogs will win, this is no gimme. Three points is a lot of points. The Tigers have a great defense and haven’t lost at home. Four units on Auburn.

Texas +7 at Iowa State. Yes, we know Texas is not back. We told you that early on. But they have too much talent. The points are a gift. Three units on the Longhorns.

South Carolina at Texas A&M (-10). The Aggies have generally had a disappointing season having not beaten any of the big boys. But this is a Gamecock team reeling after losing last week to Appalachian State. A lock on the Aggies.

No. 9 Oklahoma at No. 13 Baylor. All Baylor does is win. But they haven’t played anyone with Oklahoma’s talent. The Sooners tried to give the game away last week against Iowa State but prevailed, 42-41, on a failed two point conversion. Four units on the Sooners to show up with their A game.
