College Football – Week 7

Had our first losing week last week going to 2-5-1 and now stand at 23-18-1. There are some very attractive games this week with many top 25 matchups. Let’s look at the ones we like.

Virginia at Miami. Pick em. We love this game. Miami has better athletes, better talent but has not played well this year. They’ve had quarterback problems. Virginia has a very good defense and plays conservative football on offense. Even though there will be nobody in the audience, I think the hurricanes win this going away. We love this game. A double lock.

No. 15 Michigan -18 at Illinois. Illinois finds new ways to lose every week. This program is in disarray and overmatched. Michigan will not look ahead to the game next week against Penn State. They were fortunate to win last week against Iowa and I think they will put up big numbers through the running game and huge numbers on the scoreboard. Lay the 18 points for four units on the Wolverines.

No. 6 Oklahoma versus No. 11 Texas. The line is 10. Texas Quarterback Sam Ehlinger is a solid player as well as Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts. This will be a high-scoring contest and we will take the over 72 for four units.

Mississippi State at Tennessee plus 7. The volunteers played Georgia tough for about a half last week. Even though they lost decisively They have much more talent than the Bulldogs. It is still difficult to win in Knoxville especially when you don’t have the same horses. The line is just too high to take the seven points and the three units in Tennessee for Mississippi state at Tennessee Corey volunteers played Georgia talk for about a half last week. Even though they lost decisively. Don’t have much more talent in the Bulldogs. It is still difficult to win in Knoxville especially when you don’t have the same horses. The line is just too high. Take the seven point only three units in Tennessee.

No. 1 Alabama -18 at No. 24 Texas A&M. A huge game for the Aggies who have disappointed so far this year. A win would be a signature victory. It just doesn’t happen against Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. They wear you down and physically wear you out. Lay the 18 points for four units.

Michigan at No. 8 Wisconsin -9. I expect the Spartans to be down after the loss to Ohio State last week. Wisconsin is underrated and showing signs of how to finish off a team quickly. Lay the nine points for three units on the badgers.

USC and No.9 Notre Dame. Always a huge game. USC gets their starting quarterback he wand Notre Dame. Always a huge game. USC gets their starting quarterback Kedon Slovis back. They also had a bye week last week. Notre Dame had a semi-bye week, playing Bowling Green and winning 52-0. I think there’s a chance for an upset here but take the 10 points for three units on the Trojans. Will be there live to see it and this is a good bet for an out-right win.

No.10 Penn State -2 at No. 17 Iowa. What can you say? The Hawkeyes found a way to lose last week. Their quarterback Nate Stanley threw three picks. They couldn’t get out of their own way. Penn State continues to get better. These teams are going in different directions. Lay the points and take the Nittany Lions for three units.

No.7 Florida at No. 5 LSU. Although Florida defeated Auburn last week at home, they were unimpressive. Their quarterback Kyle Trask struggled. They have a superb defense. So does LSU. The difference in the game is quarterback Joe Burrow if LSU. Lay the 13 points because the Tigers will roll. A lock.
